3 step, No-Carve Minnie Mouse Pumpkin Tutorial

10 Disney Outfit Ideas-2.png

Welcome to my no-carve DIY tutorial for this years Minnie Mouse pumpkin! Since my kiddos are still only 2 years old, I opted for decorating pumpkins instead of carving them. This year, I tried Pumpkin Push-Ins and it made our pumpkin so easy and fun to make! Check out the details below to make a Minnie pumpkin of your own this Halloween!

I was unsure how to decorate this year’s pumpkin, until my husband and I were out shopping and I saw a pack of Pumpkin Push-Ins! The girls adore Minnie Mouse and I knew they’d love it if I incorporated a Minnie theme with our pumpkin. I bought the push-ins and got to work.

Use acrylic paint to paint your pumpkin

I used pink (of course) for our pumpkin, but you can use any color you like. You might need 2 or 3 coats of the paint. We painted the top 2/3rds pink and the bottom 3rd black.

Place your Pumpkin Push-Ins into your pumpkin

Pumpkin Push-Ins really made our pumpkin “pop” this year! I love the 3D element and it was so much easier than painting or carving our pumpkin. You can find your own Minnie Mouse Pumpkin Push-In on Amazon.com here.

Decorate your pumpkin with 3D scrapbooking stickers

I used scrapbooking flat-backed pearl stickers on my Minnie pumpkin. You can find them at any craft store or on Amazon here. I also used scrapbook stickers with a long lace design for around the middle of my pumpkin. Pick whichever ones you like and go crazy with the 3D decorations!
