DISCLAIMER: I received a complimentary Côtier brand bag, for reviewing purposes. All opinions are my own. This post may contain affiliate links.
I’m one of those people who hates grocery shopping, especially the part when you have to carry all the bags inside! We shop with reusable bags, which means our cars backseat and trunk are always filled with tote bags. The worst part is forgetting to bring the bags inside and having to buy more every time! I have been looking for an eco-friendly, convenient, space-saving way to use reusable bags to go grocery shopping.
You don’t need to buy reusable bags again.
This system is made out of durable, reinforced premium fabric, unlike the plastic reusable bags I typically buy. I filled all 4 of the bags and didn’t worry at all about the bags possibly breaking. The reinforced handles are nice and long so you can sling the bag over your shoulder, instead of hanging it in the crooks of your elbows. I like the color scheme of the bags as well, and they’re waterproof!
Fits any kind of grocery cart!
This is obviously the more impressive feature of the Côtier brand system. It fits in smaller carts like at Whole Foods, and larger carts like at Target and Walmart! In fact, if you visit the Côtier brand website, you can see all of the grocery store carts they’re verified to fit, including Costco, Trader Joe’s and Kroger! I could fit everything I wanted in the bags, even multiple gallons of milk and our Christmas ham! The bags velcro together and unfold like an accordion. You can keep them together while you shop and separate them when you’re ready to load the car. I got at least 3 compliments on how cool my bags were at the grocery store!
You can organize all of your items.
as a Type-A organization maniac, I really hate carefully shopping section by section only to have all of my items jumbled together in the same bags. This grocery cart system lets me bag my items into any of the 4 bags and keep them organized! I put dry goods in one, frozen items in another, produce in one and miscellaneous purchases in the smallest one. My first time using the Côtier brand system, the thing that most stood out to me was how awesome it is that I know exactly what’s in each bag and can even only take in the perishable items and come back to the car for the dry goods later (or send my husband).
Eco-friendly and reusable.
The whole purpose of me even using reusable bags was to help the environment by reducing my waste from plastic bags. When you have twins like I do, it’s near impossible to escape going to the grocery store numerous times a week. The bags are made of sustainable materials and are manufactured more responsibly than plastic bags are.
Okay okay, I’ve shown you how fabulous the Côtier brand system is, there must be a catch, right? Well, to be honest, there is just one drawback: When the bags are fully extended in the cart, my babies can’t sit in there like they usually do. At Costco and Target, there are double-wide strollers where both babies can sit in the front of the cart, but for the other shopping trips, I have to go solo.
I know you’re dying to get your hands on this system and it’s just one-click away on Amazon here!
