Since we’re having a long Winter this year, I thought I’d share a quick and easy (not to mention delicious) Valentine’s Day hot chocolate recipe!
Okay so the first (and most obvious) ingredient is hot chocolate mix. Ditch the Swiss Miss and get on board with Godiva or another brand of milk chocolate hot cocoa. Godiva is my absolute favorite so thats what I use.
The whipped cream comes next! The more the better! I used my local grocery store brand but any spray whipped cream will do.
Next come the sprinkles! I bought these pink and red candy sprinkles to lightly sprinkle on top of the whipped cream.
The hearts are what makes this Valentine’s Day hot chocolate, well, Valentine’s Day hot chocolate! I got these red heart- shaped Peeps marshmallows at the grocery store. They also come in white Vanilla!
Once I put the marshmallows on top, my masterpiece is complete!
And voila! You can enjoy this treat alone, or with cookies like I did! Hint: they pair well with macarons.
Well folks, I hope you enjoy my recipe! Don’t forget to follow me on Pinterest for more easy recipes and fun ideas for holidays. If you’ll excuse me, I’ll be on the couch, sipping on this lovely hot chocolate!
